Birgit Noha passed her bar exam in 1998. She graduated from the University of Vienna in law in 1992 (ranking top 1 %) where she was a research assistant while pursuing her studies. She participated in the Erasmus exchange program on EEC competition and international law with Paris II University (Université Panthéon-Assas, Paris II). She holds a postgraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley where she focused on intellectual property law (unfair competition, trademark and copyright law). She has experience as co-arbitrator and is also a lecturer at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and Member of the permanent Arbitration Court of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce.

Birgit Noha practiced law as a clerk with Austrian Courts and with well-known Austrian business law firms first as an associate and then as an attorney and as in-house counsel at a leading Austrian project finance and leasing company.

She specializes in unfair competition, Internet law and e-commerce, trademarks and all forms of intellectual property. She handles both litigation and non-contentious matters.

Besides her involvement in IP/IT law she practices selected fields of civil and commercial law such as damages and warranty law, tenancy and real estate law and project finance.
